September 19, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 The Hanover Hawks football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Godwin Eagles to 7 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Atlee for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Hanover will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 17-14 non-league loss to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Godwin drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Colonial test on Friday, September 27. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Hermitage won 37-20 in their recent league test against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA)
