Georgia High School Football - Dacula sneaks past Monroe Area
September 19, 2024: Dacula, GA 30019 The Dacula Falcons football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes to 14 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanier for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Dacula will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Monroe Area drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Purple hurricanes host Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Jackson County won 29-0 in their recent non-league test against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA)
