Illinois High School Soccer - Goode STEM Academy toppled by Solorio
September 19, 2024: Chicago, IL 60652 Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Goode STEM Academy Knights (Chicago, IL), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Solorio moves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Sun Warriors host Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to meet the Champions in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Champions come into the test with a record of 6-3. Lane Tech won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL)
The Knights now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a test on Tuesday, September 24. Goode STEM Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-2 non-league Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
