September 19, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 The Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 0 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Matadors now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 24. Sandia will play a Storm team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Storm record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Rio Grande drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Ravens host Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Volcano Vista won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
