Illinois High School Soccer - Proviso West nudges Glenbard South
September 19, 2024: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Proviso West Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Glenbard South Raiders.
The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Nazareth Academy was edged by St. Patrick (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Raiders play the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Glenbard South will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
