September 19, 2024: Waldorf, MD 20602 Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Great Mills moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to clash with the Warriors in a Southern Maryland test on Tuesday, September 24. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-2. La Plata lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Northern (Owings, MD)
The now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Point for a Southern Maryland test on Tuesday, September 24. St. Charles will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
