September 19, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shelby County moves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Rockets host Carroll County (Carrollton, KY) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-3. Carroll County won 4-0 in their recent league test against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY)
The Green Waves now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apollo for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Meade County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
