The Winfield Generals soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Ripley Vikings to 0 in the Generals league victory on Thursday.

The Generals now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Elkins for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. Winfield will play a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Ripley moves to 4-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to PikeView (Princeton, WV) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21.
