New Jersey High School Soccer - St. John-Vianney nudges Shore Regional
September 19, 2024: West Long Branch, NJ 07764 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Shore Regional Blue Devils.
The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons go into the Shore B - North outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Monmouth Regional got by Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Shore Regional will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Green Dragons go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ).
