September 19, 2024: Oklahoma City, OK 73127 The Del City Eagles softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Putnam City West Patriots to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McGuinness for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. Del City will encounter a Fighting Irish team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 10-11.
With the loss, Putnam City West moves to 1-17 on the season. The Patriots travel to Midwest City (Midwest City, OK) to encounter the Bombers in a 6A District 4 battle on Monday, September 23.
