Missouri High School Softball - Jackson sneaks past Northwest
September 19, 2024: Jackson, MO 63755 The Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) softball nipped the visiting Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Fighting Indians now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poplar Bluff for a Class 4 District 1 outing on Tuesday, September 24.
With the loss, Northwest moves to 19-6 on the season. The Lions host Marquette (Chesterfield, MO) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 5-10. Marquette lost 16-6 in their recent non-league battle against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)
