September 19, 2024: Kansas City, KS 66106 Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Paseo Academy of Performing Arts Pirates (Kansas City, MO), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Turner improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to West (Topeka, KS) to encounter the Chargers in a United Kansas test on Tuesday, September 24. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 1-12. West lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Russell (Russell, KS)
The Pirates now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast for a non-league test on Monday, September 30.
