Michigan High School Football - Alcona wallops Atlanta

The Alcona Tigers football team scored 72 points and held the visiting Atlanta Huskies to 26 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts (Mio, MI) in a North Star - Big Dipper (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 26. Alcona will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 22-20 league win over Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI).

The Huskies (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Forest Area was overwhelmed by Onaway (Onaway, MI), 46-22, in a league test.
