The Oilers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cashion for a A-I District 1 outing on Friday, September 26. Merritt will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 40-16 non-league win over Ringling (Ringling, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Apache drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Mangum (Mangum, OK) to battle the Tigers in a A-II District 1 game on Friday, September 26. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-0. Mangum won 55-0 in their recent non-league game against Watonga (Watonga, OK)
