The Howard Wildcats edged the host Appoquinimink Jaguars football team by a score of 46-39 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woodbridge for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Howard will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, DE). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Appoquinimink drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27.
