In Friday's league game, the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) football team triumphed over the visiting Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), by a margin of 56-14.

The Cavaliers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilman for a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. Archbishop Spalding will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-2.
