The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI) and the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), witnessed Barron's football squad knock off Ashland by a tally of 30-8.

The Golden Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers enter the Heart O'North contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Northwestern gained a win over Cumberland (Cumberland, WI), 48-8, in a league contest.
