The D.H. Conley Vikings (Greenville, NC) football knocked off the visiting Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC), 42-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host White Oak for a Big Carolina 6A/7A outing on Friday, October 3. D.H. Conley will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.

The Chargers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings enter the Eastern Plains 2A/3A game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Kinston notched a victory over South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 59-6, in a non-league game.
