In Friday's non-league game, the Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) football team triumphed over the host Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), by a tally of 48-7.

In their next game, the Shamrocks battle the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Barnesville will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 55-7 non-league win over South Charleston (South Charleston, WV).
