West Virginia High School Football - Washington tops Bishop O'Connell

September 19, 2025: Charles Town, WV 25414

The Washington Patriots football team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights to 14 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Friday, October 3. Washington will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Landon was defeated by Maret (Washington, DC), 35-26, in a non-league test.
