September 19, 2025: Bluefield, WV 24701 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) and the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), saw Bluefield's football team nip Woodrow Wilson by a final score of 34-28.
With the win, Bluefield advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Beavers travel to Independence (Coal City, WV) to encounter the Patriots in a Coalfield AA contest on Friday, September 26. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Independence won 35-0 in their recent non-league contest against Warren (Vincent, OH)
