September 19, 2025: Copan, OK 74022 Copan Hornets (Copan, OK) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Bluejacket Chieftains (Bluejacket, OK), 56-6 in a non-league match.
The Hornets (3-1) will now prepare for their match against South Coffeyville (South Coffeyville, OK). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, South Coffeyville was routed by Foyil (Foyil, OK), 14-8, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Chieftains confront the Welch Wildcats (Welch, OK) in a C District 3 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, September 26. Bluejacket will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Cave Springs (Bunch, OK).
