Michigan High School Football - Brandon tops Corunna

September 19, 2025: Ortonville, MI 48462

The Brandon Blackhawks football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Corunna Cavaliers to 19 in the Blackhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Blackhawks now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Fenton for a Flint Metro - Lower challenge on Friday, September 26. Brandon will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 56-14 league loss to Goodrich (Goodrich, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Corunna drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Owosso (Owosso, MI) to meet the Trojans in a Flint Metro - Lower test on Friday, September 26. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Owosso lost 26-21 in their recent league challenge against Clio (Clio, MI)
