The Briarcrest Christian Saints football team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 6 in the Saints non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Saints face the Southwind Jaguars (Memphis, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 53-0 non-league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS).

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS). The Trojans go into the Division II-AA West challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Northpoint Christian bounced Mitchell (Memphis, TN), 47-30, in a non-league challenge.
