New York High School Football - East Syracuse-Minoa crushed by Carthage
September 19, 2025: Carthage, NY 13619 Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY), 34-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Carthage improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Indian River (Philadelphia, NY) to meet the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-1. Indian River won 50-36 in their recent non-league test against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY)
With the defeat, East Syracuse-Minoa drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Whitesboro (Marcy, NY) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Whitesboro won 43-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Auburn (Auburn, NY)
