Virginia High School Football - Tunstall defeated by Cave Spring
September 19, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24018 In Friday's non-league game, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) football team were victorious over the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), by a tally of 37-8.
In their next game, the Knights face the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a River Ridge game, on Friday, September 26. Cave Spring will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 42-21 non-league loss to Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
With the defeat, Tunstall drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to clash with the Comets in a Piedmont outing on Friday, September 26. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Halifax County lost 35-20 in their recent non-league outing against Gretna (Gretna, VA)
