North Carolina High School Football - Cedar Ridge trounced by Northwest Halifax

The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football team (Hillsborough, NC), was crushed 62-19 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)

With the win, Northwest Halifax advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 2-2. J.F. Webb won 28-0 in their recent non-league contest against Morehead (Eden, NC)

Coming up next, the Fighting Red Wolves confront the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a Big Seven 4A/5A battle, on Friday, October 3. Cedar Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC).
