Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), 48-37 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Central improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cecilia (Cecilia, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Cecilia won 41-21 in their recent non-league battle against Northside (Lafayette, LA)

The Wildcats now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Live Oak for a 5A District 5 test on Friday, September 26. Walker will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 55-28 non-league win over Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
