In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Riley County Falcons football squad scored a close 21-20 triumph over the Chapman Irish.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Braves come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Council Grove tipped Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS), 39-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Irish (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay Center (Clay Center, KS). The Tigers go into the North Central Kansas challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Clay Center nipped Louisburg (Louisburg, KS), 34-7, in a non-league challenge.
