Louisiana High School Football - Church Point defeats Rayne
September 19, 2025: Rayne, LA 70578 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Church Point Bears football squad scored a good 46-16 victory over the Rayne Wolves.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mamou (Mamou, LA). The Demons go into the 3A District 4 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Mamou was topped by Lafayette (Lafayette, LA), 49-6, in a non-league battle.
The Wolves now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Comeaux for a 4A District 4 battle on Friday, September 26. Rayne will play a Spartans team coming off a 42-28 non-league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
