Kentucky High School Football - Simon Kenton tops Conner
September 19, 2025: Hebron, KY 41048 The Simon Kenton Pioneers football team scored 35 points and restricted the host Conner Cougars to 14 in the Pioneers non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Simon Kenton will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Defenders go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 35-14 non-league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY).
The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 5 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Cooper lost by DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY), 42-17, in a non-league challenge.
