The Midland Christian Mustangs got by the host Cornerstone Christian Warriors football team by a margin of 17-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frenship for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Midland Christian will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Cornerstone Christian drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to LBJ Austin (Austin, TX) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-1. LBJ Austin lost 55-22 in their recent non-league test against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX)
