September 19, 2025: Gray, TN 37615 The West Ridge Wolves football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Daniel Boone Trailblazers to 7 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dobyns-Bennett for a 6A Region 1 test on Friday, September 26. West Ridge will play a Indians team coming off a 35-0 league win over Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.
The Trailblazers (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Fighting Cocks come into the 5A Region 1 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Cocke County went down by Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), 54-0, in a non-league test.
