Idaho High School Football - Declo tops Melba

September 19, 2025: Declo, ID 83323

The Declo Hornets football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Melba Mustangs to 13 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Side for a 3A Southeast Idaho test on Friday, September 26. Declo will face a Pirates team coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.

The Mustangs (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID). The Pilgrims go into the 3A Western Idaho Conference challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, New Plymouth toppled Orofino (Orofino, ID), 55-19, in a non-league challenge.
