Virginia High School Football - Salem crushed by Dinwiddie

September 19, 2025: Dinwiddie, VA 23841

Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team overwhelm the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA), 42-0 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals face the Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) in a Central challenge, on Friday, September 26. Dinwiddie will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 34-13 non-league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).

The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins go into the River Ridge test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Blacksburg was overwhelmed by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 41-36, in a non-league test.
