In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Eau Claire Shamrocks football squad scored a close 12-7 victory over the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans.

The Shamrocks (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Pelion was nudged by Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC), 35-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 26. Ridge Spring-Monetta will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 35-16 non-league loss to Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC).
