September 19, 2025: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the host Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA), 46-22 in a non-league test.
The Vikings now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central City for a 8-Man District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 26. Edgewood-Colesburg will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 76-12 league loss to Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Turkey Valley drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA) to meet the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 4-0. Bishop Garrigan won 65-6 in their recent non-league test against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA)
