The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack football squad scored 54 points and limited the visiting North Central Knights to 20 in the Wolfpack league triumph on Friday.

The Wolfpack now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creighton for a D2 District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 26. Elgin/Pope John will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-28 league loss to St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, North Central drops to 0-4 on the year. The Knights host Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE) to face the Warriors in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 26. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Neligh-Oakdale won 40-28 in their recent league challenge against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE)
