North Carolina High School Football - Enka thwarted by McDowell

McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Enka Jets (Enka, NC), 33-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, McDowell advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Titans travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to confront the Black Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, September 26. The Black Hawks come into the match with a record of 2-2. North Buncombe lost 41-14 in their recent non-league match against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

Coming up next, the Jets confront the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a Mountain 5A/6A match, on Friday, October 3. Enka will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
