September 19, 2025: Topsham, ME 04086 Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 40-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Mt. Ararat advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to confront the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, September 26. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 2-1. Mount Desert Island won 28-6 in their recent league match against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a 8-Man Large South (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 26. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Phoenix come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 52-38 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).
