September 19, 2025: Hill City, KS 67642 Hill City Ringnecks (Hill City, KS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS), 58-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hill City advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Ringnecks travel to Rawlins County (Atwood, KS) to play the Buffaloes in a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 26. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Rawlins County lost 40-34 in their recent league battle against Trego (WaKeeney, KS)
The Longhorns now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Linn for a Twin Valley (8 Man) match on Friday, September 26. Thunder Ridge will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
