In Friday's non-league game, the Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX) football team were victorious over the visiting Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX), by a score of 42-13.

In their next game, the Brahmas face the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 9 outing, on Friday, September 26. Pewitt will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX).
