Louisiana High School Football - Kaplan wallops North Vermilion
September 19, 2025: Maurice, LA 70555 The Kaplan Pirates football squad scored 48 points and limited the host North Vermilion Patriots to 16 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Breaux Bridge for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Kaplan will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 35-7 non-league loss to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
The Patriots (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Vikings go into the 4A District 4 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Northside was ripped by Cecilia (Cecilia, LA), 41-21, in a non-league challenge.
