The Bulldogs now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pine Tree for a 4A-1 Region III District 9 game on Friday, September 26. Kilgore will battle a Pirates team coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Sunnyvale notched a victory over Van (Van, TX), 42-28, in a non-league game.
