Pennsylvania High School Football - New Castle trounces Knoch

September 19, 2025: Saxonburg, PA 16056

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting New Castle Hurricanes football team scored a big 38-0 win over the Knoch Knights.

With the win, New Castle advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA) to play the Quips in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway battle on Friday, September 26. The Quips go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Aliquippa won 21-16 in their recent non-league battle against Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)

The Knights now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Indiana for a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny battle on Friday, September 26. Knoch will play a Little Indians team coming off a 41-34 non-league win over Derry (Derry, PA). The Little Indians record now stands at 2-3.
