Indiana High School Football - West Lafayette sneaks past Lafayette Central Catholic

In Friday's non-league test, the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils football squad scored a close 34-27 triumph over the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights.

The Red Devils now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Western for a Hoosier - Big School challenge on Friday, September 26. West Lafayette will face a Panthers team coming off a 22-13 league win over Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.

The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Bombers go into the Hoosier - Small School challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Rensselaer Central was edged by Tipton (Tipton, IN), 33-14, in a league challenge.
