September 19, 2025: Nevis, MN 56467 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds football squad scored a decisive 47-0 victory over the Nevis Tigers.
The Thunderbirds (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN). The Rebels enter the Mid Northwest - Valley Plains West match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls routed Bagley (Bagley, MN), 52-20, in a league battle.
The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bagley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Nevis will play a Flyers team coming off a 52-20 league loss to Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN). The Flyers record now stands at 2-2.
