Massachusetts High School Football - Somerset Berkley Regional thwarted by Malden Catholic
September 19, 2025: Malden, MA 02148 Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders (Somerset, MA), 35-12 in a non-league battle.
With the triumph, Malden Catholic upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Westwood (Westwood, MA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league match on Friday, September 26. The Wolverines come into the match with a record of 1-1. Westwood lost 34-12 in their recent non-league match against Bellingham (Bellingham, MA)
Coming up next, the Raiders play the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. Somerset Berkley Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA).
