September 19, 2025: Mason City, IA 50401 The Mason City Mohawks were victorious over the visiting Marion Wolves football team by a score of 29-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mohawks face the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Mason City will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Go-Hawks enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 28-7 non-league loss to Algona (Algona, IA).
The Wolves (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch come into the 4A District 4 test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Pella topped North Polk (Alleman, IA), 19-15, in a non-league test.
