Spectators at Friday's league bout between the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) and the visiting North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Meade's football team bounce North County by a final score of 44-7.

With the win, Meade advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Crofton (Gambrills, MD) to encounter the in a Class 4A3A East bout on Friday, September 26. The go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Crofton lost 28-27 in their recent league bout against Severna Park (Severna Park, MD)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a Class 4A East contest, on Friday, September 26. North County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Gophers enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 21-7 league win over Annapolis (Annapolis, MD).
